Synopsis

Miriam Lichterman and Pinchas Gutter, two survivors from Auschwitz, tell of the horrors of war and the Nazi death camps’ unimaginable horror. After the war both fled Europe and settled in Cape Town, South Africa, at a time when the brutally racist apartheid regime came to power. Suddenly they were living side by side with a white ruling minority, who were their executioners spiritual heirs. A little lie may not be believed at all, but a big lie, if repeated with sufficient vigour and frequency, will eventually take deep root in the minds of the uninformed masses.
