Synopsis

Jon Bang Carlsen's breakthrough. A filmic diary about an old woman living with her son on a lonely farm in a remote landscape by the sea. Her thoughts on the old peasant culture and the modernity that is taking over. Stylistically the film is the first successfull example of "the staged-documentary" method Jon Bang Carlsen developed over the years.
