In a Champions League match against Lazio in Rome the South African footballer Sibusiso Zuma fights both the Italian world stars and the racist crowd bombarding the African with contempt each time he touches the ball. In the European cauldron at the Stadio Olympico his mind travels back to childhood days in the poor "township" in South Africa. Instead of the world stars’ overprized legs "Zuma the Puma" sees the barefoot legs of his childhood dribble the ball around in Africa's red dust. The more violent the soccer match between Lazio and F.C. Copenhagen develops, the clearer the wounds and loneliness, which was the price for letting his great talent unfold in the cold, but rich country far from Africa.
